Simple Music Player
Playing music from their early years for people with dementia improves their quality of life and mental well-being. The Simple Music Player combines the provision of music they remember and the ease of use these people need. Setting up the radio and uploading selected music is done by friends, family or caregivers. The design is reminiscent of old radios and is immediately recognisable as something that plays music. The use is very intuitive and requires no prior knowledge. The user can only turn the radio on or off and choose the next song. The music starts playing where it stopped last time. The volume can only be set by family or caregivers. A jack for headphones is also provided on the back.
